No other president has bowed to any other leader. If it had been Obama meeting Joe Stalin, he would have bowed also.
Obama didn't have time to walk with the President of France through one of the gravesites of those who died at Omaha Beach, yet he found time to take his shoes off and visit a mosque in Turkey. He gave his first television interview after taking office with a Muslim TV network.
Batten down the hatches, this is going to get ugly. This is not how a president of America acts. And I have nothing to apologize for as a 63 year old American,I am proud of America.
This was not a bow. Bowing is an acceptable form of greeting in many cultures and signifies respect and honor. What Obama is doing is grasping the hand of a monarch and flat out kneeling in submission.
For any American to do this is abhorrent to our very cultural character. Great figures in our history have preferred to die rather than commit an act such as this. For a President to do so is just plain repulsive.
